Spring Cleaning

Clean up your house, clean up messy relationships, clean up mind. Spring is full of beautiful flowers and emerging life. Take this time to evaluate your life and start that new task that you have been procrastinating about. There is no time better than the present to evoke change.
If your mom has ever told you that a cluttered space calls for a cluttered mind, she is right. The average brain can function better when there is a clean and open space to do so in. Clean up your room and give away all of the things you haven't touched in over a year. Then move on to your closet, this will be fun. Take out the things that are too small or that you just don't wear and have a swap party with all of your friends. This way you get new items, get rid of what you no longer wear and you did not even have to spend any money.
It is too pretty outside to have beef with someone. "If you have beef; I have chicken, let's take it to the grill." You were friends for a reason so take it back to that time in your relationship. see where it went wrong, and fix it. After everything is over you will feel just as pretty as the blossoming roses outside do.
Everything is harder with a cluttered mind, so clean it out. All of those dreams and aspirations that have faded need to be accomplished. There no reason why you can't save the dolphins or bring about world peace. Rome was not built in a day and the Taj Mahal is not made of one brick. Baby steps will help you conquer Everest. Start today and be the change in your life.
But what minutes! Count them by sensation, and not by calendars, and each moment is a day. ~Benjamin Disraeli

Time goes, you say? Ah no!
Alas, Time stays, we go.

How different is our world now that we are the generation of the world wide web. We have instant access to shopping, books, people and everything in between. But with that being said, the world has access to us.
The things that we do and say now have the ability to follow us for the rest of our lives, I plan on living a long time and i don't want or need any of my childish high school ways stalking me when I'm a grandma. The internet is forever; theres no such thing as a delete button. Think before you act.
Although our actions may seem harmless at the time, there is a thin line between your "bffl" (best friend for life), "your soul mate" (even though you guys have been together for a total of two weeks and there is no chance of you guys ever breaking up) and the rest of the world. It is called the world wide web for a reason. He may want a cute pic to get him through spring break because your going away, or you may just want to shock and surprise him. But what happens if by that slim chance you guys happen to breakup(since 90% of high school relationships end in disaster...but that could never be you- i knw)? Everyone in the world has access to the internet, that means what you put on there, or what someone else post, people in China have access to.
Not only can the information sent tarnish your reputation, but it is illegal. If you are under the age of consent, 18, the case can be tried as soliciting child pornography. So in addition to people undressing you with their eyes, you could have a record.
Don't be naive and think that it could never happen to you. One of my near and dear friends had to face this very situation and will now be dealing with this for a long time. I love her and I don't want anyone else to be put in this predicament.

$ Money 4 the Moment $

Summer is rapidly approaching and I know we all love money. It is time for you to stop mooching off of the 'rents. Crazy thought, how about you get a summer job. It can get you out of the house and put some cash in your pocket.

1) Remember that this is just a summer job and not a career- It would be great if you love what you do, but this IS only for 2 months.

2) Ask around- Maybe your 'rents know someone that needs a babysitter during the week. Look in your local grocery store, there maybe a post for dog walking.

3) Market yourself- you could place signs in the market, or even online. Make google your bestfriend.
